Why is Russia creating the biggest aircraft carrier in the world? The new "Shtorm" aircraft carrier – a.k.a. Project 23E000E – will be included in Russia’s next armament program for the 2019 to 2025 period. The aircraft carrier will go into service in the navy by 2030 and experts say that its potential base will be Severomorsk (1,880 km north of Moscow).     On last check , USA doesn't need the oil , and not interest in Ukraine Tibet or Taiwan

An aircraft carrier is of little use without a trained and competent force of pilots who can make the ship into a true fighting force as opposed to simply a means to transport aircraft to distant areas. Even if the ship itself is built within, say, five years, it would likely take twice that long to establish an experienced air component for it . . . if that even occurs at all. Note well, Russia has had aspirations to become a world naval power since the time of Peter the Great, and except for their submarine fleet they have all but totally failed to do so, ever. I will lose no sleep over this bit of propaganda.
14. What I got from this video is than Russia has dreams to build a super carrier and nothing more concrete than that. They don't even have a dry dock large enough to accommodate a hull that large. Perhaps they can hire the Chinese to steal the plans for a Ford class carrier. Even then they couldn't build it. Dream on Ruskies.
