William Sager- The Largest Volcano in the World-Mid Pacific Ocean



Dr. William Sager talks about the discovery of a massive underwater ancient volcano in the Mid Pacific Ocean called Tamu Massif. He discusses types of volcanoes, plate tectonics, mantle plumes and volcanic hotspots related to plate triple junctions. He reveals his 20 year personal journey studying the Mid Pacific and dealing with the news media after the discovery of the Massif became public.
