World Record Fastest Set of Acrylic Nails with Amy Becker of Masterworks

This is up close actual video footage of the fastest set of acrylic nails done this last April of 2013 in Pasadena Ca. There is also an interview with Amy Becker before the footage that describes how she prepared and what happened at the event. Because Amy's time upset the former record holder, many accusations were thrown around by spectators who didn't know the rules. Amy did extensive preparation for this event which included sculpting 2-3 sets of acrylic nails a day for weeks before this competition. She makes it look easy but it was anything but. Watch her as she sculpts the acrylic for one hand while using pressure on a finger of the other hand to make sure the forms don't fall off!

17. that was incredible! To my untrained eye, these also looked completely wearable. I'd wear these any day, if this was about pace as oppose to technique, I can only imagine what your acrylics look like untimed. Awesome!
