World's BIGGEST CAT ever!? HERCULES! 10 feet tall, 925 pounds! This massive animal, called a liger, is a hybrid liger-tiger cross-breed! As one of the world's largest animals; it's certainly the biggest known cat in the world today! Named Hercules, he weighs around 420 kilograms and stands around ten feet high (when on his hind legs). Hercules -- the undisputed biggest cat in the world and indeed one of the biggest animals alive -- routinely eats 100lb of meat in a single meal! Hercules lives in South Carolina, USA, at the Myrtle Beach Safari wildlife preserve. Today, ligers are basically domesticated "pets", as due to shrinking feline populations worldwide as well as the destruction of natural habitats, lions and tigers no longer interact in the wild (although there is certainly evidence to suggest that they once did).
