World's Largest Crocodile Dies in Captivity - Newsy

The world's largest crocodile, weighing more than a ton, has died in the Philippines leaving an entire village to mourn. Lolong was reported to have been in pain since swallowing a nylon chord weeks earlier.

2. Lolong did not died in captivity, He dies after a year or two after being capture. Yes, it is the fault of the local government because they didn't took care of him very well.

6. thanks for being careless and unprofessional letting this majestic creature swallow something it wasn't supposed to. should have left it in the wild. this is why I dislike people so much. greedy bastards and now stuff it and put it on display to make more money. really messed up creating some bad karma for themselves I would say and in my book they deserve everybody of misfortune that comes their way.
7. Dumb and horrible. If they wanted tourist revenue they could have got the shovels out and dug a really big habitat for him and got professional help from the Australians on how to care for the croc. They'd still have him and make more money.

These people are living in a 3rd world country, many live on little more than a bowl of rice. Go spend some time in one of these countries and come back and throw rocks at them for exploiting a big freaking lizard. I'm guessing you weren't thinking or you wouldn't have said that...
