8. My friend had the worlds longest reticulated python in captivity and that was 27' 4". she was in the Guinness record book. when she died her skin was preserved and is at this moment in a museum in Manchester U.K
9. There has been one recorded death from a reticulated Python and it was human error...

If Guiness Book Of Records is acknowledging Medusa as the longest snake in captivity then I think they should think twice about their selection of judges and be much more responsable about their records cause there is two retics that I know of and seen in person which are longer than Mrs.Medusa.
    p.s. The Guiness Book Of Records have just lost so,so,soooo much credibility which they will never get back!!! But I guess that what goes around comes around...

16. A huge retic or anaconda can eat a adult human! not possible in normal position, but since a snake can open its mouth over 150 degree angle. When the snake rolls the body sideways, or rolls its head sideways, in that position the snake can swallow a human. The top of the snakes head would be at one shoulder, and the bottom of the snakes mouth be at the other shoulder.. so prey sideways in the snakes mouth. in this position it would be possible! Lucky that most Large constrictors raised all their life around humans, are usually fairly tame. Its at feeding or breeding time you really got to watch out.! they all have their own personalities!! some can seem tame all their life.. but wild instincts and reactions can not be breed out.!!! -- its for that very reason that no animal of any type that is capable of killing a human.. should ever be trusted 100 % of the time. Therefor if you have a large constrictor -- enjoy it, but never work with it alone!! and do not let it around small kids or other pets!! and never ever let it go if it becomes too much for you.. call Fish and game and they, or contacts they have will help in finding it a new home.. In another words enjoy ur pet, but be a responsible owner. Oh and the very best advice -- start small and over decades of learning. work your way up to the bigger species if that is your interest. same goes for venomous snakes!!! and always keep them in super strong and secure cages that are pad-locked.!!! with warning labels, and secure all animals before any big storms!! 17. Theres about 6 cases on record since the early 20th centry most of witch happen in the most of witch where small children. Not really some thing i would say known for eating people. There way more cases on record of dogs eating people then there are reticulated pythons. Still animal needs respect and it is wise to keep on lockers at a distance.
