World's longest tongue: Guinness World Records measure 9.85cm tongue

Stephen Taylor has reclaimed the record for the world's longest tongue, measuring a staggering 9.85cm. "What you have to do is stick your tongue out, close your mouth and then it's measured from the middle of your top lip down to the tip of your tongue," Stephen explained. Describing the advantages of his unusual tongue, he added: "I don't have to use a spoon when I eat yoghurt or a jelly. I can lick my plate clean quite easily!" Report by Sophie Foster.
