This is to Guinness book of records THE largest RC plane. It has a span of 8.9m, 4 X 160cc engine, weight: 210 kg and is built on scale 1/5 of the B29 "Dina Might"
To everyone who says there's bigger ones, but provide no proof... LAME. OP needs to link to the Guinness record because it doesn't seem to come up in a search. Maybe they're full of it too!
I know this is an old post, and there have been bigger models since, but you know as a builder, you have been usurped on size, when you watch a video and realize your aircraft and it's ENTIRE wingspan could fit inside the lowered outer flap on this one........I have some big models, 50cc and 53cc 1/3rd scale size stuff, but this makes them look tiny. I would love to see the house they built to store the bugger in !!!
Love it
not the worlds largest anymore -_-
Awesome.
I would like to see these guys make a 1/5 scale B-36 Peacemaker or the Spruce Goose.
a very loud drone!
I flew this plane... in my dreams lol
Risky landing. Why not make a controlled landing at a controlled descent rate and having some extra speed for gliding out ?
You probably meant to say B-29 Superfortress
Superfortress.
At this point why not just hook a system up to remote control a small plane instead?
Yay for lithium-ion!
...
This reminds me of all the pictures from WWII of american bombers (B-17s and B-52s) flying over german airspace.
Why doesn't anybody ever try to ride it?
Put some. Snappers is there
Pop, pop! I wonder what the military was like when they saw it on the radar. Great job!
People, it is not an C-130 or the AC-130 Spectre variant. It is a model of the late WW2 B-29 Stratofortress. This is the plane that dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
