Worlds Strongest Man - World Records thru 2010 !

SPOILER ALERT !!! Brian Shaw just won the 2013 World's Strongest Man contest in Sanya, China and he crushed the WSM Record for Maximum Deadlift! His overall performance was so dominant, he was able to do Atlas Stones slowly & carefully.

1. The 2013 World's Strongest Man contest is currently underway in Sanya, China. Today (8/17), the Group Qualifying Rounds began with 30 guys competing for the 10 spots in the Finals. The Finals Events are: Steel Frame Carry, Giant Tire Super Yoke, Truck Pull, Deadlift for Max Weight, Circus Medley (?), and Atlas Stones. All of the Big Names from 2012 will be there except for Poundstone, Katona, and Caron. Laurence Shahlaei is returning from an injury that kept him out in 2012.
2. To All Worlds Strongest Man Fans: I've just posted the 2011 and 2012 Versions of this Video Series, so feel free to get caught up on all of the World Records which were set or broken during the most recent competitions !

8. Z is outright stronger than Shaw, Shaw just applies his strength a lot more appropriately to the events
9. A Note to all Fans: Brian Shaw's record of 20.75 seconds in the 2010 WSM Keg Toss was short-lived, as it was surpassed by Zydrunas Savickas in the 2011 WSM. "Big Z" used slightly heavier Kegs and finished the event in only 19.42 seconds !
