Comments

  1. Best runner ever!
  2. that feeling when he would lap me 5 times in a 5k
  3. god
  4. dude seems barely tired after his 5k wr. mental.
  5. Can somone explain to me why at the start they don't all run as one group? Why is there a group which starts off first? Isn't this unfair? Or is it based on individual times or smth?
  6. BTW, does anyone know where to get one of those 'Nike Elite Pro Sponsored' singlet + split shorts Bekele was rocking in this race? It must be quite a popular kit Nike gives out to its sponsored athletes as I've seen it on some others as well.
  7. watching these 60 second laps without rest makes me feel sick already... I'd be happy to hang on for 2 laps!
  8. thought i was decent with 17 minutes lel.
  9. Ben ik blij dat de commentator Nederlands spreekt, Bekele is gewoon een levende legende zijn record zal nog voor een lange tijd op zijn naam staan.
  10. Man he nearly ran a 8:00 2 mile time
  11. extraordinary
  12. You are indeed a good runner when you can run the 400m in about 60 seconds. Once. Bekele runs the 400m 12 times in about 60 seconds which means a average of 2:31 m/km. I would really like to know about his VO2max and a biomechanical analysis of is running. He runs so efficient. He is the best!
  13. One of the greatest athletes that's ever live.
  14. Eat your heart out, Mo Farah.
  15. Que bestia este bekele
  16. Each kilometer he ran 1 second faster each time - amazing
  17. 7:27 last 3000m after a 5:10 first 2000m. Unreal! Literally my favorite distance runner to watch.
  18. 2 sec of marathon
  19. 2 sec of marathon
  20. Without doubt the finest middle/long distance athlete ever. Has the edge on Haile.(JUST) His world records are phenomenal. 5k 12.37. 10k 26.17. Mo. best 5k 12.53. 10k. 26.46. Mo has proved he is a great competitor but never competed against the best of the best at their best. Bekele, Haile and Komen were in a class of their own. Not taking anything away from Mo, he can/could only race against the people around at the time. I think an older but still hopefully fit Bekele could possibly still get the marathon record in the next couple of years. Maybe London 17??? I must add that El Guerrouj is probably the finest Short/ middle distance runner ever alongsie Seb Coe.?
