  1. disappointed that I got a 4ktv about a month before the S was announced. Still a good tv, but no HDR in it. wish I would have waited. I never even heard of HDR before the announcement of the X1 Slim. Good video xbot. I know I'm late commenting on this. Always love your energy in your podcasts dude.
  2. planning to buy one with the scorpio either 2017 winter or 2018 summer, just hope microsoft offers special launch deals

  6. HDR 10 vs Dolby vision.. Good info for those who didn't know the difference.
  7. I have a 4k hdr 120 hz Samsung tv.  I am good.
  8. Also 60hz TVs are bd for sports TV broadcasts and fast high action movies. You will see a blurry trailing image on everything.
  9. Thanks, I'm shopping now.
  10. Thanks for the info, bruh! I'm going to be shopping for a new 4k soon so this info is a big help!
  11. HDMI can only run at 4k max at 60hz, those 240 Hz is TV tech that add frames to make it "look like" 240 fps and look very smooth. You want a TV that does 60Hz 4k native. From what i have seen those 240Hz ones do 4k at a native 60 fps. you just have to disable smooth motion or put it into game mode or you will get input lag. Also if you are buying a 4k tv next year the big thing will be free sync. Freesync (and Gsync) is the best gaming upgrade you can get right now. It will make your 55-45 fps game look like a stable 60 fps game. AMD just announced the HDMI standard for freesync earlier this year so im hoping next year TV's will start to include the tech.
