Zoo Spotlight: Martial Eagle

As the largest eagle species in Africa, “Bomani” is one impressive raptor. In this video, "Bomani," demonstrates how his species would capture prey in the wild. Known for eating very large prey, a martial eagle will swoop down with open wings and talons stretched forward - then use those powerful talons to hold onto their prey. You can see this fascinating raptor along with other birds of prey in a daily free-flight presentation in our educational Zooventures Theater.
